Celebrate the positive impact of equality, diversity and inclusion through Creative UK\u2019s new hub of industry case studies.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Create Diversity<\/span><\/a> \u2013 Creative UK\u2019s new creative industries hub focusing on case studies for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) \u2013 has launched online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It kicks off a year-long campaign aimed at amplifying and celebrating the stories of great EDI practice throughout the creative industries. The stories shared come from us here at Spotlight<\/a> and companies such as Sky, the V&A Museums, The British Fashion Council, UK Music and Framestore.<\/span><\/p>\n

Creative UK\u2019s aim to shine a light on the benefits and value of EDI in the creative and cultural industries comes at a crucial time. We\u2019re starting to see more widespread social discourse, a shift to the right in politics, and the value of EDI programmes turned away from by the political and corporate worlds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The creative industries sector has already made strides in regards to inclusivity and equal treatment, but there is still a lot of work to be done \u2013 particularly as many diversity metrics are starting to stall or go backwards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Spotlight\u2019s Managing Director, Matt Hood, said, \u201cSpotlight has long championed equality, diversity and inclusivity, and we\u2019re delighted to have Creative UK\u2019s new hub as a valuable resource to use in our efforts. Campaigns like Create Diversity are crucial in paving the way for a richer, more representative industry. We commend Creative UK\u2019s work and look forward to seeing the positive impact it brings to our sector.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
