Myles Frost kicked the ceremony off with \u2018Billie Jean\u2019 from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MJ the Musical<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which was later followed by Ray Shell\u2019s powerful narrative from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iced<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Akomaasa Arts Academy\u2019s inspiring performance <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Path of Courage<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Koko Alexandra\u2019s soulful rendition of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mood Indigo. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The audience was also treated to the cast of Disney\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Lion King<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including Merryl Ansah and Thenjiwe Nofemele, performing \u2018Shadowland\u2019 and concluding the spectacular event with \u2018Circle of Life\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spotlight were proud to sponsor the award for Best Child Performer (Under 16), which was won by Spotlight member Janai Bartlett.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re thrilled to see so many of our members among the winners and nominees, including Best Lead in a Play winners Terique Jarrett and Tiwa Lade, Best Lead in a Musical winners Ivano Turco and Karis Anderson, and Best Casting Director Selma Nicholls.
