After the amazing response we had to our last\u00a0Into the Spotlight\u00a0monologue competition, we couldn\u2019t wait to see what our talented members would send in \u2013 and you didn\u2019t disappoint! This time around, we shone the spotlight on musical theatre, and were once again blown away by the number and quality of the entries received.<\/p>\n
Here at Spotlight, our team watched every monologue performance, and we just couldn\u2019t narrow it down to 10. We agreed on a few more before sending them to our special guest panel \u2013 the team at\u00a0Jill Green Casting<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 who narrowed them down to the final top 10 and chose a winner.<\/p>\n We\u2019d like to thank the team at Jill Green Casting: Jill Green CDG, and casting assistants Olivia Laydon, Tom Shiels and Chenube-Ruth Bailey, for all their help selecting the finalists.<\/p>\n Without further ado, we are delighted to announce that the winner of our musical theatre \u2018Into the Spotlight\u2019 monologue competition is\u00a0Emma Odell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Watch Emma\u2019s winning monologue performance:<\/p>\n
