As the only major theatre awards decided entirely by the theatregoing public, the night served as a tribute to the productions that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans over the past year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fresh off its success in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotlight.com\/news-and-advice\/full-list-of-olivier-awards-2026-nominations\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Olivier Awards 2026 nominations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the Savoy Theatre\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paddington the Musical<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was the undisputed champion of the night with a record-breaking nine wins. The production swept nearly all the technical and creative categories, including Best New Musical, Best Casting Director for Spotlight member Natalie Gallacher and team, and Best Direction for Luke Sheppard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was closely followed by the London Palladium\u2019s powerhouse revival of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evita<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which earned six wins.
